Plants of brinjal (Solarium melongena L.) cv. ‘Pusa kranti’ were sprayed with IAA and GA3 at 0, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 ppm. IAA stimulated the vegetative growth upto a concentration of 100 ppm and suppressed at 200 ppm. GA3 promoted the vegetative growth at all the concentrations used.
